What a wild ride in real estate this year! It's a buyers market right now and now is the time to get a new home. National Association of Realtors President, Pat V. Combs, says homes continue to be a good investment, especially since owners typically stay in their homes for up to 6 years.
Recent mortgage companies going out of business lately will slow sales down temporarily, but the market will turn itself around and stabilize pricing trends in many local markets. And next year is election year!
Most adjustable mortgages loans have disappeared but that doesn't mean there aren't any available even if you have slow credit. Talk to your mortgage person and see what loan is right for you.
