How do builders see Real Estate Agents...Friend or Foe?
Working with new home sales, builders, and developers in this market has been much different from past years when homes sold at full price. Many builders are looking at losing all profits and even all of their assets because of low offers and paying monthly interest payments for homes remaining on the market for long periods of time.
I do not really understand "why" the building industry is suffering. Interest rates are low. Unemployment is down. The stock market is up. People should be flocking to new communities to buy the wonderful homes in the new home subdivision. I feel that the market is a direct result of the media announcing everyday that "the Real Estate market is down".
The Real Estate Agent is the one bringing the low offer. I do understand how the builder does see the agent as the "foe". I would like your comments on this situation.
